Abberley Adjustable Bed Mattresses are customised to the perfect density for someone of your height and weight.
The mattress is made up of 3 layers of foam for maximum support and comfort.
We do not glue the layers together, for two reasons.
First, the foam is open-celled, so air naturally passes through it, making the mattress cooler. Gluing the layers would prevent this cooling air flow.
Second, if you feel the mattress is too firm or too soft, we can send out a replacement layer.
Because they are not glued together, the layers can be easily swapped out to make your bed just the way you want it - e.g. softer and plusher, or springier, bouncier, and firmer - while giving your body optimal support.
These are our most popular adjustable bed mattress configurations...
The Ultima30 is our softest mattress, ideally suited for people up to 9st.
The top layer is 3" of high quality memory foam.
The Ultima50 is our medium firm memory foam mattress, for people up to about 16 stone. Although the feel will vary according to your weight.
So if you’re around 9-10 stone, it will feel firmer than if you weigh 15-16 stone.
The Ultima75 is our firmest memory foam mattress, suitable for people up to around 20 stone (or anyone who likes a firm mattress).
The Ultima Gold is our non-memory foam mattress option. It feels more like a sprung mattress, in that when you press down on the firm, it springs straight back. Whereas memory foam takes a second or so to regain its shape.
It has a springier, bouncier feel, which may be useful to help move around in bed, if you have a mobility issue.
The top layer of the Ultima Gold also allows 4x more air to pass through it than the memory foam layer in our other mattresses, making it feel cooler.
